    Toggles worked like a charm.

Toggles worked like a charm. The loop on one end worked great to attach to the loose end of my kevlar tree straps, keeping my toggles handy everytime I set up my hammock.

I kept using tent stakes for marlin spike hitches to hold my whoopie slings when all the twigs “I could easily find on the ground” turned out to be rotten.I kept using tent stakes for marlin spike hitches to hold my whoopie slings when all the twigs “I could easily find on the ground” turned out to be rotten. So I could add a couple more stakes to my pack, or the right tool for the job.

Super light and works!I use these with Kevlar straps and the marlin spike hitch and it works well. Replaced the loop with shock cord to use to wrap the straps, too. Great customer service.

  5. Question

    saxebryan

Are these strong enough to do the toggle and loop method? Your short on strap, you don’t have enough to do a marlinspike hitch, you have a loop at end of strap, put toggle through loop to hang whoopie sling?

You cannot use our toggle in this application as they are not weight bearing. The will only work with the marlin spike hitch.

    Great toggles!

These are crazy light and strong as can be. Switched from soft shackles to toggles and gained no weight.

Are these toggles long enough to use with tree straps of 2″ webbing?

They are 2.75″ long so you would be able to use them however it may be a little tight.

  8. Question

    bpreis

If I connect my whoopie sling where the loop is underneath the hitch (instead of traditionally being above), will this form an adequate water break? If not, what do you recommend as a water break for the MSH?

I would recommend either using a small piece of rope or the end of your whoopie sling if there is enough left over and tie it right underneath your tarp on your suspension and you should be fine.

    Awesome little toggles!

I bought these to use with my first set of whoopies and I’ve had no problems at all. They work exactly as advertised, weigh nothing, and help keep my hammock suspension set-up simple.

    Thanks Dutch!

Light, strong and they get the job done.

Light, strong and they get the job done. What more could you want in a toggle?
